Neeta Sane, Comptroller of Finance - USISECNeeta Sane is the Comptroller of Finance at USISEC.

Neeta Sane is an elected official in Houston, USA since 2007 and she holds a public office as a Trustee of Houston Community College (HCC) Board of Trustees. In 2014, she served as elected Board Chair of HCC Board of Trustees.

Neeta Sane is the Comptroller of Finance of USISEC. Sane is committed to “Student Success.” As an HCC Trustee, she has been instrumental in building a stronger student base and mutually beneficial business partnerships for educational and workforce environment in the community. She hosted several regional workforce summits and launched a workforce support scholarship. She hosted a Youth Leadership Summit for Early College High Schools students. She also launched HCC-ASPIRE (Asian Scholarship Program Inspiring Results and Excellence) program to help students excel in education. With service dedicated to public good, Neeta continues to work to boost workforce training opportunities, and to prepare skilled citizenry for the global job market.

She has served in various organizations ranging from American Association of University Women, to American Business Women Association to YMCA to Chamber of Commerce to Super-Neighborhood Councils to Rotary Clubs to Fort Bend Democratic Party. Sane received the 2009 DiversityFirst award from Texas Diversity Council. She was elected Chair of Asian Pacific Islander and Native American Trustees Association (APINATA) during the ACCT National Congress held in October 2009. She received 2010 Community Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Asian Chamber of Commerce, and 2010 Minority Achievers Award from YMCA. In 2011, Sane was honored by the State of Texas House of Representatives in recognition of her service to the community and HCC. The Texas House commended Sane for her efforts to strengthen the college’s capacity to serve as a pathway to higher education and workforce training. In 2012, she received Leadership Award from Asia Houston Network. In 2013, Sane received the Greater Houston Service Award from Volunteer Houston along with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for her service to the community and college. Sane was one of the Luminary Ambassador Award recipients in 2013 for helping the cause of Asian American Family Services. She also served as a 2013 Honorary Co-Chair for the City of Houston’s Citizenship Month celebration. The Caribbean Chamber of Commerce awarded her the Apex Award in 2013 for Sane’s commitment and achievement in Education. In 2014, Sane received a recognition from D-Mars as one of the Top 30 Influential Women of Houston. In 2015, she also received a recognition from Houston Woman Magazine as one of the Top 50 Influential Women of Houston. In appreciation of being in the top influential women of Houston, Texas Senate also honored her for her caring and effectiveservice to the community and the college. At the 2015 Texas Diversity and Inclusion conference, Sane was awarded a Multicultural Leadership award. She is a Vice President for Youth Outreach of the National Diversity Council. She is an honorary member of the Asian American Engineers and Architects organization in Houston. She is a member of the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Sane, with her strong academic interests, successfully made scientific and technological advances in the field of Chemistry as she graduated with Master of Science degrees from University of Bombay as well as University of Houston-Clear Lake. Sane also earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the Florida Institute of Technology.
